6 Types of teeth The teeth at the front of my mouth are INCISORS.
They are used to CUT into my food. The teeth next to the incisors are called CANINE. They are used to TEAR my food. The teeth at the back of my mouth are called MOLAR. They are used to CHEW my food. THEY ARE ALL IMPORTANT TO US WE NEED THEM ALL. THEY ALL HAVE A PURPOSE & FUNCTION

11 Plaque is a bacteria. It is a sticky colourless film which forms on the teeth almost as soon as they have been brushed.

13 What we need to do! CLEAN THE PLAQUE OFF MORNING AND NIGHT, WITH WHAT? WHAT TYPE OF BRUSH? WHAT DO WE PUT ON OUR TOOTHBRUSH?

USE LARGE EGG TIMER & PRETEND TO BRUSH TEETH IMAGINE CLEANING THE HOUSE YOU HAVE OUTSIDE & INSIDE THE HOUSE TO CLEAN UPSTAIRS & DOWNSTAIRS

Milk fruit smoothies. Plain yogurt & fresh fruit. Crumpets, toast fingers and cheese spread. Homemade plain popcorn. Chapatti, pitta bread, potato cakes, and rice cakes. Savoury biscuits – like water biscuits, cream crackers, oat cakes, rice cakes and bread sticks. Cheese. Show samples of safe snacks
