Prescriptions by Swiss doctors are valid in France
blood tests, scans, imagery are performed in an identical manner; results are cross-border invariant
medicines may have a different name, but are equivalent; only a few have no equivalent or come in different dosage (e.g. 5mg instead of 10mg)

To speed-up claim processing, always provide
original invoice (1 in 4 returned claims)
prescription (1 in 5 returned claims)
detailed bill (1 in 6 returned claims)
all acts or tests have to be listed, so ask for that
proof of payment
one form per member, one envelope per member

Use the new claims form (include barcode)
Discard any old ones you have (paper/electronic)
Download, print or pick-up new one (download is best)
Do not staple documents (paper clips are fine)
Send the claims by (internal) mail or drop them in UNIQA’s office mailbox (it’s safe, no need to enter)

Using CHIS as complementary insurance
if your spouse/partner has another insurance
if your child(ren) can use spouse/partner insurance
 use other insurance first, submit other insurance’s reimbursement statement to UNIQA
 get much better overall reimbursement rate
