3. New York is possibly the most popular city in the world
New York is possibly the most popular city in the world. Every day people come from all over the world to see its skyscrapers and noisy streets. To New Yorkers it is the city that never sleeps, it is the city they adore.

4. Parts of the fruit
Manhattan is the place where you can see most of the city’s famous buildings and sights.

5. Queens is the largest area
Queens is the largest area. The bridge from Manhattan to Queens goes across Roosevelt Island, a smaller island.

6. For a long time people do not want to visit or live in the Bronx because they were afraid of crime. In the last few years, there has been less crime in this area.

7. Visitors to Staten Island are often surprise to find lakes and green hills. There are a lot of houses with front and back-yards.

8. Only three US cities- Los Angeles, Chicago and Huston- have larger population than Brooklyn. This part of New York is called «Borough of Homes and Churches».

You can see who the visitors are in New York. They walk around looking up all the time. New York is famous for its skyscrapers. There are many different types of building. Some of them are beautiful, some are not. Together they are the most wonderful sights in the world.

For many people, the Chrysler Building is the most beautiful in the city. It was built between 1928 and 1930 by the car company Chrysler. It was the tallest building in the world but only for year. The Chrysler Building was built to look like a wheel. When it was finished, the first floor was a car showroom.
