MAZATLÁN It is located at 23°13′N 106°25′W on the Pacific coast, across from the southernmost tip of the Baja California Peninsula. With a population of 438,434 (city) and 489,987 (municipality) as of the 2010 census, Mazatlán is the second-largest city in the state. It is also a popular tourist destination, with its beaches lined with resort hotels

SIGHTS IN MAZATLÁN MALECÓN
Considered one of the longest in the world, you have 8 kilometers of beautiful scenery of the Pacific Ocean, from the monument to Pedro Infante to the Night Club Valentino. Along its route, you will pass restaurants, bars, cliffs, hotels, monuments and more, so you never get tired of the ride. If you are several days, try to cross it at different stages; and if you're a runner, you have many kilometers making your morning or evening run is never boring. ss

PLAZUELA MACHADO One of the oldest in the city, in 1837 he built the wealthy merchant Don Juan Nepomuceno Machado and has been recently restored so you can rest in the shade of the trees enjoying their Spanish and French architecture. Their kiosk was added in 1881 with its first remodeling, so now you will enjoy the full panorama to relax. ss

ISLAND OF THE STONE To access it you can do it in a traditional boat from the harbor leaving will gladly take a rest, then come back for you. OLAS ALTAS BEACH It is undoubtedly the most iconic beach town as it is in Old Mazatlan aside from downtown. Its sands are constantly moving, so no matter how much you visit you will always have a different view. It also builds passing through the oldest section of boardwalk to stroll or sit in one of the bars or restaurants and sipping a drink. And beware: the waves are high! ss
