2 Pronouns and Antecedents
Find each Pronoun and its antecedent. The antecedent may not be in the same sentence as the pronoun.

4 Rosa raises pigeons on the roof of the building where she lives.
They are specially trained to deliver messages. Rosa rolls up the message that she has written. Then she ties it to the leg of a pigeon. She watches it fly sixty miles an hour to deliver the message safely.

5 Subject and Object Pronouns
Find each pronoun in these sentences. Write subject if the pronoun is a subject. Write object if it is a direct object.

7 Today we cleaned the entire house. I dusted the furniture.

9 Possessive Pronouns Write the sentences using the correct word in parentheses. Let me use (your, you’re) telescope. (My, Mine) has lost (it’s, its) cover. Let’s use (my, mine) telescope. Liz will bring (her, hers) too. Can I combine (their, they’re) power?

11 Pronouns After Linking Verbs
Write the sentences, using the pronoun in the parentheses that is correct. Our scorekeeper was (he, him). That is (he, him) in the blue shirt. My team is (she, her) and (I, me). The winners were (us, we), not (they, them).

12 Pronouns in Compounds Write each sentence, using the compound subject or compound object that competes each sentence correctly.

Write each sentence using the correct verb in parentheses. Underline the indefinite pronouns. Everyone (enjoys, enjoy) painting. Somebody (has, have) blue paint. Few (likes, like) to paint with brown. All of them ( is, are) on the table.
