AKA: How to make a STELLAR presentation!!

2. Getting Started
When you start Power Point, you will have a title page slide.
Fill in this title page slide – you can go back and change your slide’s “theme”, or background, at the end.

3. Adding Slides To get a new slide, you can do one of two things:
1. Go to INSERT, then NEW SLIDE.
2. Or…press Ctrl-M.
On the right, there will be options for your slide layout. You can pick the one that is right for your slide. This can change each time!

4. Changing your font/colors
There is a bar at the top where you can choose font and size, as well as alignment.
To change the color of the font, click on the far right of the toolbar (two dots and an arrow) and then choose the A with the colored bar beneath it.

5. Slide Designs
To change the design of your slide, click on the button that says “Design” on the right side of the toolbar.
You can choose a design template or a color scheme.

6. Animation! Select the object you want to animate.
On the Slide Show menu, click Custom Animation.
Make sure that in the start menu, “On Click” is selected.
Choose your direction under that (if your effect needs it).
Then, click on the “Add Effect” button – choose entrance.
Choose your effect after that.
If you want your animation to apply to the exit (meaning,
before you switch to your next slide), choose exit a
second time.
