4. Community Service Requirement
AS part of your graduation requirements, you must perform a minimum total of 30 hours of Community Service.
Service is described as:
No compensation, for a non-profit and not during school hours.
The community service activity form is on the THS website and can be downloaded/printed.

5. Community Service is:
Volunteering for a Non-Profit: Humane Society, Library, Boys and Girls Club, AYSO, Kid Zone, Historical Society, American Red Cross and others.
Participating in community activities or events: Local PTO events at elementary schools, Project MANA Food Drive, Toys for Tots, Scouting Service Projects and others.
Volunteering for THS jobs/events that are not part of your club duties.
Remember…if it helps the community it is community service.
Community Service IS NOT!!!
Working for your parents or at a place of business even if you are not paid.
Helping out relatives or helping an elderly neighbor with his/her yard work, tutoring your neighbor or babysitting a friend’s child. (you do this because you are part of a family).
Donating food or money.
Working at your church performing your typical church responsibilities.
