3. Bird Beaks & Their Uses

4. Tearing Beak
Birds of prey such as the eagle, hawk, falcon, and owl use their beak to tear their food into small pieces they can swallow.

5. Griffon Vulture
Feeds on large dead mammals, taking only muscle meat and viscera. Their distended crops and gizzards can hold over 13 pounds of meat at a time.

6. Hook Beak
Birds that eat fruit, berries, and vegetables have a hooked beak to help them dig into their food.

7. Yellow-Naped Amazon Parrot
Fruits, seeds, nuts, berries, blossoms, and probably leaf buds.

8. Red-Billed Hornbill
