2. Two Theories on Migration
A) “Out of Africa” - Homo Sapiens started in Africa and moved to other regions of the world.
B) Developed Separately - Homo Sapiens developed separately in many parts of the world and mixed together with other large brained humans.

3. Spread Over The Earth
By about 30,000 years ago Homo Sapiens were living in Africa, Asia, Australia and Europe.
By 12,500 years ago they were living in Chile

4. Adaptation
Modern humans had to adapt to the environment around them. They had to:
Find what plants could be eaten
How to hunt different animals
Find materials for tools and shelters

5. On your own Take notes on the following two sections:
How the climate changed? How did the weather affect the animals and in turn affect the humans. (Page 70 – 71: A Changing Climate)
Staying Warm (How did they stay warm, 71)
