20
Lessons learnt Massages on A&B and PP are also disseminated to children in the community yet they are designed for adults because drama shows begin at 2.00 pm when some of them are out of school. During school out reaches, pupils ask questions on A&B and PP for clarifications This implies that some pupils are mature and have had sexual intercourse( aged above 14 years)
21
challenges Limited number of attend out reaches
Working classes don’t attend out reaches thus miss massagers Some out reaches are interfered by rain Peer educators complain of the little SDA per out reach drama groups also complain of the SDA they are paid.
22
Challenges cont Drama groups lucks costumes and other materials to make the massages real Management budget line is inadequate i.e. coordinator monthly allowance of only 100,000/= and 15,000 being SDA and transport for support supervision of out reaches. No allowance for Organization accountant yet handles/ accounts for the project funds. This reduces their moral
23
Challenges cont Schools went for holidays and school out reaches were postponed. This requires maximum effort to accomplish them when they open. The Project Coordinator left the organisation and acting coordinator was put in place and RTI Regional office oriented him the project.
