Review: the 3 Dangers The World—God made the world and called it “very good” (Genesis ch. 1). However, when I turn to things of the world as a substitute for God, I misuse it and ruin myself. The Flesh—God made my body to be good, to be used in the ways He intended. When I turn away from God, I misuse my body, degrading myself physically and spiritually. The Devil—Once the highest ranking angel in heaven, Satan turned away from God, rebelled against him, all because he wanted to be God instead. He is the original liar who seeks to turn all of creation away from God.
