Career Fashion designer Coco Chanel, in France, is famous for her timeless designs, trademark suits and little black dresses. She had a brief career as a singer before opening her first clothes shop in 1910. In the 1920s, she launched her first perfume and eventually introduced the Chanel suit and the little black dress.

Life story Chanel was born into poverty in the French countryside; her mother died, and her father abandoned her to an orphanage. After a brief stint as a shop girl, Chanel worked for a few years as a café singer. Coco Chanel, in full Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel (born Aug. 19, 1883, Saumur France-died. Jan Paris) When Chanel turned 18 she went to Moulin's as a young women determined her way in the world. She stated performing in clubs, which is how she got her nickname “coco”. It is said that her nephew (supposedly her sisters Julie’s child) was actually her & Balsan’s. While in Paris Chanel, met Balsan’s friend Arthur “Boy”. Capel was even more wealthier than her first love.

Thoughts I think if she wouldn’t have passed, her clothing line her company would be more popular than it is. I think her and her ex-husband were a cute couple.
