Mobility, Cardiovascular Fitness, Muscular Endurance Education: Basic Fitness Knowledge, Myths about Exercising, Role of the GYM in their Fitness Journey Scientific evidence showing that weight bearing activities such as strength training increases bone mineral density which is essential for bone formation and growth. 60 Mins Of Moderate to Vigorous Activity Each Day CMO Guidelines Only 21% Of Boys & 16% of Girls meet these Recommendations 67% of Children did not meet the Minimum Recommended Activity levels Fit for Sport 2014 40% of 5 to 7yr old Could not do A minute Star Jumps

Integrating Fitness Training into the PE program
Vega and colleagues researched the Effects of a Circuit Training program on Muscular & Cardiovascular endurance in year olds 72 Children were recruited and randomly grouped into Control and Experimental groups The Experimental Group followed a circuit training program for 8 weeks The Control Group maintained their normal PE and organised sport lessons during the 8 week period All participants were tested for Muscular & Cardiovascular endurance prior to commencement of study Vega and colleagues from Granada university and funded by the Spanish govt. It is possible to develop muscular and cardiovascular endurance through a short term program in the PE setting Results showed the Experimental Group significantly increased both Muscular and Cardiovascular endurance than Control Group indicating the design proposed could be effective for PE classes Vega et al. 2013
