2. Gagliardi Boutique Hotel
The building currently used as a hotel, belonged, previously, the brothers Messina; it offers a face view of the Old Town, and includes 11 rooms. The current owner is Corrado Messina and the activity was opened five months ago. The hotel has taken this name because you can buy items such as candlesticks, prickly pear cloth, paintings, potteries in the rooms. Customers are mainly of English, German or French nationalities. (Kind of Rooms: Classic = € 200; Superior = € 240; Deluxe = € 260. Kind of Suites: Santa Chiara = € 330; San Nicolò = € 330; San Domenico = € 370).

3. Maidda
This bakehouse is situated in Ducezio Street, it was open since 1st August In ancient times the “Maidda” was a tool for making bread. It produces bread, biscuits and cakes made with natural flour.

4. Caristia Artistic Pottery
“Caristia Artistic Pottery” is a little shop in the town centre of Noto, selling pottery. Sebastiano Caristia is the owner and his activity has got his name. He likes making owls, plates and many other objects of different sizes. The activity started 20 years ago.

5. L’Officina del Cioccolato is a Chocolate Shop in Noto, which produces many chocolate products and it is located in the city center. It was born from the idea of two boyfriends, who have turned their passion into a real job.

6. “Costanzo Confectionery” is a bar but also a meeting point for young people, who use to come here expecially at night, and it was fonded in 1962 by Corrado Costanzo, the father of the current owner. It is well known both in Italy and abroad. Its specialities are ice creams, martorana fruit, nougat, dry biscuits, almond pastries, granite and honey biscuits.

7. Il Libertyno is a mixture of a restaurant and a pub and the owner considers it the son of a restaurant called Liberty, whose owner is the brother of Mrs. Angelino. Most of the customers are tourists, who visit Noto from Spring to Autumn, and young people, who are attracted by live events that Il Libertyno organizes every week. The average price is € 8,00 for a sandwich and a drink and € 10,00 for the most elaborate tapas.

8. La Manna
La Manna is a restaurant, opened by three friends two years ago, in November, which has got the name of a typical Sicilian product that is extracted from ash tree and it is only in Sicily. In the same building there is a luxury B&B. The products are dishes with fish and meat, also for celiacs and vegans.

9. Tannur
This restaurant was opened on 28 August 2015 by three former schoolmates who wanted to create a good restaurant of Sicilian cooking in their town. They chose this name because they rediscovered an ancient kitchen walls inside one of the halls. They prepare dishes of Sicilian traditions. Their customers come, above all, from Northern Europe and they already know what they want to eat and drink. Their prices range from 15 to 30 euros. Their best advertising is the positive comment of their customers on TripAdvisor.
