Buckeye and EMI were too high for consideration
BrightView: $71, Hidden Creek: $66,657.79
Evaluated the pros and cons.
Hidden Creek had good recommendations.
Brightview service this year has not been good.

August 18, 2016: Committee recommended 3 year contract with Hidden Creek.
August 25, 2016: Board approved by vote.
Signed September 11, 2016 (with 30 day no fault cancellation).

One variety at PPV will spread seeds every year.
Recommend removal of that variety in the mulch beds.
Must pull foxtail by hand.

Shallow roots and suck up water
Often shed leaves in dry periods
Nearby grass may die
Options:
Live with it.
Remove sod in bad areas, replace with mulch ($)

Some areas have 5 inches or more.
Experts say 2 inches is fine.
New contract calls for 1 inch additional mulch.
At some point, we need to remove some old mulch.
