1 AGRICULTURAL WASTE Agricultural waste is waste produced as a result of various agricultural operations. It includes manure and other wastes from farms, poultry houses and slaughterhouses; harvest waste; fertilizer run- off from fields; pesticides that enter into water, air or soils; and salt and silt drained from fields. Some examples of agricultural waste include: Grape Vines Fruit Bearing Trees Vegetables Date Palm Fronds Fields.

2 INDUSTRIAL WASTE Industrial waste is the waste produced by industrial activity which includes any material that is rendered useless during a manufacturing process such as that of factories , industries, mills, and mining operations. It has existed since the start of the Industrial Revolution . Some examples sandpaper, paper products, industrial by-products, metals, and radioactive waste. Toxic waste, chemical waste, industrial solid waste and municipal solid waste are designations of industrial wastes. Sewage treatment plants can treat some industrial wastes, i.e. those consisting of conventional pollutants such as bio chemIical oxygen demand (BOD). Industrial wastes containing toxic pollutants require specialized treatment systems.

3 SAFE DISPOSAL OF WASTE Waste management is the handling of discarded materials. Recycling and composting, which transform waste into useful products, are forms of waste management. The management of waste also includes disposal, such as landfilling. Waste can be almost anything, including food, leaves, newspapers, bottles, construction debris, chemicals from a factory, candy wrappers, disposable diapers, old cars, or radioactive materials. People have always produced waste, but as industry and technology have evolved and the human population has grown, waste management has become increasingly became complex.
