Document 1: Geography Homework
Is the colour suitable? Use of smileys? Should there be a heading. What do you think of the font? Are there spelling mistakes? What would you do to improve this?

Would this posted encourage you to stop and read it? If you did would you be excited by it/encouraged to go? Is important information highlighted on it? What about WHEN it takes place? Layout of the information What would you do to improve this?

Use of colour? Font? Would you call this person to interview if you were the doctor? What would you do to improve this?

Font? Font Size? Text-speak? Are there certain items of information which should be highlighted more? What would you do to improve this?

How to format text Highlight or select the text you wish to format.
Choose the type of formatting you want to use.

Highlighting / Selecting text
Place the cursor at the start of the text you wish to select. Hold down the left mouse button and click and drag until all of your text is highlighted It will appear with a blue box around it.

Spelling / Grammar The wavy lines tell us that Microsoft word has found a spelling mistake. (Red ovals) However can you find other spelling or grammar mistakes that the computer has not? (Blue ovals)
