3. Thankful – State of being Grateful
The Scriptures have always made it clear, “we are to give thanks in all circumstances.” 1 Thess 5:18
 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.“ Phil 4: 6-7
For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 1 Cor 11:23

4. Profile of Strength - Thankful
* Being thankful to God and to others – Opens the Windows of heaven for contentment and peace. When we give God thanks His presence envelops us with comfort and faith. It is this experience, that then floods our posture with hope. With Hope comes power and energy to persevere and endure until we achieve our victory or our goals * Secular psychologists are figuring out what God has know all along. Grateful people are healthier people. There blood pressure is lower, their cholesterol is better, they suffer fewer heart attacks, and they just generally feel better than people who spend all their time gripping and complaining instead of counting their blessings.

5. Convert Thankfulness to Praise
Now, here is the question. How would you like to draw closer to God in in your worship. Convert your thanksgiving into praise. Praise him for the tears, praise his for the challenges, praise him for the giants in your life. Begin to sing, to worship, to love him no matter what. The devil is losing his grip. You are now growing, growing, getting stronger, filling up with faith, filling up with hope, filling up with his spirit. Come on, don’t stop. Keep praising him, keeping singing, now break into dance and worship.
Praise-true praise-has a way of getting God’s attention. Power and faith is released. Why? Because God inhabits the praises of his people.

6. Convert Thanks into PRAISE!!!
Sometimes when the conditions I’m in are miserable. I know where to go for encouragement. Ps 34:1 “I WILL bless the Lord at all times. His praise Will continually be in my mouth. When I am tempted to fall into despair or allow the weight of my circumstances to crush me, I say it. I will choose to praise Him and thank Him no matter what.

7. Praise!!! No Matter What
Consider it pure joy my brother whenever you face trials of many kinds. James 1:2 No matter what happens God is good. I give thanks because all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to his purpose. I choose to acknowledge Him for His excellent greatness. I praise him for answered prayers, a beautiful day, a rainy day, a good parking place, a bad parking place because I can use the excerise. I praise Him for my family. After a bit, I’m not anxious anymore. My smile is not forced anymore. Something within my spirit bubbles up. Then I am enveloped with peace and joy. My profile of strength is to be thankful.
