2
Personality and Multiple Intelligence
Each person is intelligent in several ways, and each person is different from everyone else in the ways in which they learn, demonstrate skills, and manage information. Multiple Intelligences – developed by a famous psychologist Howard Gardner. He suggests that every person manifests varying levels of these multiple intelligences. Video

Multiple Intelligences
Verbal/ Linguistic Visual/Spatial Logical-Mathematical Interpersonal Intrapersonal Musical Body-kinesthetic Naturalist (depending on where you look, not included in Gardner’s original 7) You are not considered to fall under one or the other. You may have qualities in all 7 areas.
5
Body-Kinesthetic People are generally better at activities such as sports and dance and often prefer activities which utilize movement. They learn best by actually doing something rather than reading or hearing about it.
6
Interpersonal People in this category are usually sensitive to others’ moods, feelings, temperaments and motivations. They typically work best by working with others and often enjoy discussion and debate.
7
Intrapersonal Those who fall under intrapersonal would rather work by themselves. They are usually highly self-aware and capable of understanding their own emotions, goals, and motivations. They learn best when able to concentrate on the subject by themselves.
8
Linguistic People in this category are typically good readers, writers and story tellers. They are good at memorizing words and dates. They tend to learn best by reading, taking notes, and listening to lectures.
9
Logical - Mathematical
People who fall under this category naturally excel in mathematics, chess, computer programming and other logical or numerical activities.
10
Naturalist This is the newest class of intelligences and is not widely accepted as the original seven. Not part of Gardner's original theory. Those with it are said to have greater sensitivity to nature and their place within it. The ability to nurture and grow things, and greater ease in caring for, taming and interacting with animals.
11
Spatial People with strong visual spatial intelligences are typically very good at visualizing and mentally manipulating objects. Generally have a very good sense of direction and may also have very good hand-eye co-ordination.
12
Musical Those who have a high level of musical-rhythmic intelligence display greater sensitivity to sounds, rhythms, tones and music. They normally have good pitch and are able to sing, play musical instruments and compose music. They learn best via lecture and will often use song or rhythms to learn and memorize information.
