Step 8 : Create Understanding: Communication Strategies All stakeholders need to understand the vision for learning in a technology-rich environment and the steps you need to take to achieve it. A carefully designed communication plan can not only inform the parents and community, but make them ardent supporters and advocates. Key Question: What communication strategies will build the strongest support across all stakeholders within the school community? Summary Communicate the vision and goals to all stakeholders with a consistent and clear message so there is shared understanding. Core Concepts All stakeholders need to understand: The school’s vision for learning in a technology-rich environment. The steps the school needs to take to achieve this vision. A carefully designed communication plan not only informs the parents and community, but also makes them ardent supporters and advocates. Communication is an ongoing, long-term process. It requires continuous effort and attention.
