1.3. Comparative analysis Start date End date Description of the activity carried out Report on mapping the research human potential and issues in University of East Sarajevo. First phase implemented a desk research, based on the “Questionnaire for mapping the research human potential and issues in WBC universities”, which has been developed in scope of project. The questionnaire covers a range of topics relevant for HR management in research institutions, all of which are highlighted in the European Charter and Code, or The Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) process. The completed questionnaire is annexed to this report. For the purpose of a desk research, a work group was established at the university. The work group was coordinated by mrs. Jovana Amović. Other members of the work group were: prof. Stevan Trbojević, prof. Dejan Bokonjić, asst. prof. Slaviša Moljević, mr. Nenad Marković, MSc. The desk research involved a review of the different legal documents, reports, procedures and manuals and a data collection, which has been performed with collaboration of the various departments and faculties. Most of the activities were carried on by two sectors, Science, Research and Development Office, and Quality Assurance Office at the University. After extensive analysis of the existing data already available in the field of research, the adapted questionnaire was drafted for faculties, in order to provide us with the information only available to them. This adapted version of questionnaire was delivered to the 15 faculties’ secretaries, who filled them in. All collected data was summed up and entered into the final version of the questionnaire. Internal research also included the analysis of the interinstitutional rules and regulations. External research included the analysis of laws and by‐laws regulating research and higher education in Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Action plans for HE management reform Start date End date Description of the activity carried out There were several meetings with rector and vice-rectors as well as with key administrative employees who can bring changes with potential HR strategy during May To all of them questionnaire for mapping research human potential and issues as well as report were presented and explained with special emphasis on calls for actions. 1.5. HR offices and centers equipped

For the first time in B&H there will be organized Join or common procurement of equipment for 2 universities in accordance with national legislation. This strategy was adopted by Senate of the University and sent to European Commission for final decision about acceptance. 2.6. Promotion procedures improved

2.7. Plagiarism monitoring tools implemented

2.8. Ethical committee procedures improved
Start date End date Description of the activity carried out A report about functionality of ethics committee is made. Following chapters were done: abstract, introduction, national legal framework in the partner country, bodies responsible for ethics, institution’s legal framework and remarks/ suggestions for improvement. 2.9. Cooperation with scientific diaspora established

All information about existence of these networks were sent to the project coordinator for the wider dissemination. WP3. Excellent researchers for the community
3.1. Researchers trained on C&C and HRS4R Start date seminar End date Description of the activity carried out Working group held 2 seminars and educated 102 researchers from different levels. 3.2. Webpages offer opportunity links

Also all researchers are registered in the students’ survey system. And, all researchers will be registered in the eNIR system, recently developed. For now, there is activity related to enter all research results in this system. Other visibilities will be done during getting HR research in excellence code (job vacancies, placement of all researchers on the university web page). WP4. Quality at 4.1. Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) established Start date End date Description of the activity carried out Our project team member prof. dr Dejan Bokonjic appointed in this team. QAC will meet regularly to prepare project quality standards, procedures and reports, to discuss and evaluate the progress of the project realization, to monitor the activities of all partners, and manage whatever problems there may arise in the course of the project. It is planned that QAC meets once a year though it is possible to have more frequents meetings if necessary.
