1 FICF’s Mission(s) Pray for & dismiss children to Sunday School
Take 30 seconds and greet someone next to you. FICF’s Mission(s) Sunday February 26th 2017

2 Do you feel like your life is a juggling act?
Introduction Do you feel like your life is a juggling act? Do you feel like following Jesus is a juggling act? Do you feel like, keeping pace with Mission(s) Month, has been a juggling act? This morning, I want to help us digest all that we have been feasting on this month. I want to get “up close and personal”.

3 Pablo Montanez 46 “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you? 47 Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like:48 he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built. 49 But the one who hears and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the stream broke against it, immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great.”  Luke 6:46-49 Theme= National Mission(s)

4 “Keep Digging” ”Keep Digging” Digging is hard work.
We must lay our foundation on the Solid Rock, Jesus Christ. We must go down before we can go up (Matthew 23:11-12). Can you dig it? Mission is who we are. An issue of identity, not merely an activity.

5 Mike Ashley 1 Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples, 2 “The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses' seat, 3 so do and observe whatever they tell you, but not the works they do. For they preach, but do not practice Matthew 23:1-3 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.  Matthew 22: 36-39 Theme= Local Mission(s)

6 “Building Bridges” Build a bridge between… Your words and your actions
Loving God & loving our neighbor as ourselves Win the right to be heard. Jesus became our neighbor.

7 Our desired outcomes this month, were to be…
Envisioned Equipped Released Envisioned The Holy Spirit has been sent to continue to completion the work that Jesus started. The Holy Spirit is alive & active in bringing the culture of heaven, His Kingdom rule and reign, to our earth. What man has distorted, He is redeeming and restoring. Equipped The Holy Spirit wants to work through you & me. You have a purpose. You have a role to play. It is not a question of IF but HOW. Let’s discover this together. Anything that challenges that or rejects that, is not the voice of our Heavenly Father. Jesus provided a way for you to participate. Released You can hold your head up high– Confidence.
