Do we really use exponents?
Exponents are simply a shorthand notation for multiplying the same number by itself several times One example of using exponents in real life is when you calculate the area of any square. If you say "My room is twelve foot by twelve foot square", you're meaning your room is 12 feet × 12 feet — 12 feet multiplied by itself — which can be written as (12 ft)2

Graphs and graphing are an important part of medicine. This is because graphs are used to test new medicine and monitor risks.

Market Research Analysis - gathering statistical data on customers and competitors using algebra Animator-Animators use linear algebra to show the way an object is rotated, shifted and re-sized Industrial Engineer-To prepare for college, students should gain a foundation in math during high school, taking classes such as algebra, trigonometry and calculus.

Real life When filling your car up with gas you can use a form of algebra. Lets say you only have $20.00 to spend on gas today and gas is $3.50 a gallon. How many gallons could you buy? Let x = # of gallons of gas 3.50x=20.00 x=5.71 gallons

The future Computers are not going away anytime soon. Being a computer programmer in the future is going o be highly requested and to be apart of that you need to be able to do algebra
