Things can be going great, and then all of a sudden – Job 1-2
You work so hard to get it - and then you die – Luke 12:13-21; 16:19-31

God is the ONLY sure Hope
He is Sovereign Ruler of all things – 1 Timothy 6:17; Daniel 4:24-27
He is Faithful to all His promises – Hebrews 10:23; Deuteronomy 6:21-25; 7:9

God is the sole Giver of all we possess
It’s God who provides us with everything for our enjoyment, not wealth! – 1 Timothy 6:17c; James 1:17
God blesses us with wealth for a reason – 1 Timothy 6:18; Peter 4:10

Treasures in Heaven
Treasures greater than anything we have ever experienced! 1 Timothy 6:19a; Matthew 6:19-21
When we store up treasures in Heaven we are building a firm foundation for the coming age – 1 Timothy 6:18; 1 Peter 1:3-5

8. The Reward for Putting Your Hope in God
Life that is truly life
Abundant life here and now! – 1 Timothy 6:19b; John 10:10
Eternal life in Heaven – 1 Timothy 6:19
