Foxbank Elementary School Construction Budget: $16,474, Project Budget: $22,357, Completion Date: August ,000 SF capacity of 900 students Foxbank Elementary School site The elementary school in Foxbank Plantation is in progress of the due diligence phase. While jurisdictional wetland determination is in progress, surveying and geotechnical investigations are scheduled if not in progress The Pre-K through 5th grade school will begin schematic design for the 780 students as soon as these due diligence efforts are complete. The project is scheduled to be completed and opened August 2018.

19 Berkeley Education Center – Phase 1 Stabilization Project Estimated Stabilization Budget: $2,084, Estimated Completion Date: August 2017 Building Study Determinations: Existing structural elements do not meet life-safety code distribution criteria. Existing stairwells do not meet the required fire separation rating. Exterior walls need mortar repointing & full cleaning. Existing interior masonry walls require vapor barrier treatment for moisture control. New sprinkler system installation required to meet building code occupancy requirements. New fire alarm system installation required to interface with new sprinkler system. All spaces including entry/exits and restrooms require upgrades to meet ANSI requirements. Front Entry

Architect’s Recommendation is to move forward with stabilization to prevent continued deterioration of the building by the following: Demo existing site utilities and re-route new site utilities including water for fire service Demo unusable rear additions Selective demolition of interior to fully expose structure Salvage and restore any significant interior materials Masonry restoration Roofing replacement Window replacement Fire protection line and riser Minimal temporary power Site surveys, hazardous surveys and abatement design Intent is not to occupy the building, but to stabilize the building Women’s Restroom Window condition Staff Toilet 1st Floor Corridor

Demo Scope of Work: Interiors of existing building demolished back to bare studs, ceiling joists, and floor sheathing Existing stairwells to be demolished with new shaft walls constructed for 1-hour separation All existing doors and windows replaced with exception of front entry New entry stairs and ramps Repoint 100% exterior masonry New mineral batt insulation Remove existing roof down to deck, install new barrier and metal standing seam roof Provide new gutter and downspouts along rear of building
