Even though Elizabeth I was a queen, she went through a rough childhood. Elizabeth I was born on Sunday, September 7, 1533 in Greenwich Palace, England. Her parent’s names were Henry VIII & Anne Boleyn. She had 2 siblings, who were Edward VI & Mary I. Elizabeth was born a princess. Her mother, Anne Boleyn, was executed when she was only 3 years old; the reason behind this was because her mother had been set-up by Elizabeth’s dad to be investigated for high treason. Her parents were never married; However, they had 3 children together. Mary, her sister, was imprisoned for approximately 1 year because she participated in Protestant rebels. Elizabeth became queen when she was 25 years of age. After all of this took place, Elizabeth winded up being the most royal member of her family and she’s still remembered until this day.

“…The Heart & Stomach of a King.”
Paragraph goes here Although Elizabeth was known for her royalty and position as queen, she did way more in her life. Her main job was being the last monarch of the Tudor Dynasty. She became the queen of England at the age of 25 and was welcomed wholeheartedly by the citizens and greeted by orations. She ended up being the only royal member of her family after her parents because her siblings weren’t apart of the royal blood. Since Queen Elizabeth I was surrounded by family and friends who were sick, she died on March 24, 1603 at Richmond Palace. Queen Elizabeth I is notable for many things, which may include turning England into a world power, protesting for other religious beliefs besides her own, uniting the British Isles as a nation, and fighting for women’s rights. Elizabeth I was the Virgin Queen, Gloriana, or Good Queen Bess, and was immortalized by Edmund Spenser. Another influential thing about her was that she stood single since she was determined to turn England into a great nation without a man by her side.

Our Thoughts About Queen Elizabeth I
As a queen, she was a role model to many young children in the world. Even though her job was to be a queen, she did way more than she was required to do. She fought for women’s rights and this is one of the main reasons why we like her. Because women weren’t given much liberty around the 16th century, Elizabeth took it upon herself to help those who shared the same sex as her. We believe that she probably grew up in a household that exposed the way women were treated in the outer world; therefore, she tried to change it. Queen Elizabeth I was an excellent queen, who changed a lot in her community and taught young people the path that should be followed.
