By Jocelyn Garcia-Thome November 19, 2015

2 LCAP/SPSA School Goal #3
Farnham School will be an orderly and purposeful environment in which students and staff feel safe and free to learn and work. Farnham Elementary School will sustain consistent, school-wide implementation of Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) to maintain a positive school culture, foster an inclusive environment that ensures appropriate behavior for all students and builds an effective learning environment. Additionally, we will continue to maintain a positive school climate and create opportunities for students to demonstrate good citizenship and be lifelong learners.

3 Action Steps Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) plan
Monitor attendance and discipline Offer a variety of club offerings and enrichment activities Provide services to meet the emotional, behavioral and mental health needs of students Implement and analyze the Student Healthy Kids survey in Grade 5 (spring 2016)

4 Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports
Outcomes -- academic and behavior targets that are endorsed and emphasized by students, families and educators (Farnham ABCs and Life Skills) Practices – evidence-based interventions and strategies (“how” we reach our goals -- teaching and practicing routines and procedures, student recognition through Falcon Feathers, Student of the Week, Staff of the Week, etc.) Data – information we gather that helps us identify areas of needed change and/or the effects of interventions, and finally, Systems that can be implemented that are sustainable over the long-haul -- supports that enable the accurate and durable implementation of the PBIS
