Please sign both the 3 way pledge and classroom management forms and leave it on the bookshelf. The math homework book is for you to bring home, where it should “live”. 2 Daily Schedule (Mon – Thur)
8:00- 8:30 Welcome/Morning work 8:30 – 10:20 ELA: Whole class reading, writing and small group reading 10:20 – 10:35 Recess 10:35 – 11:40 Math 11:40 – 12: Math facts/review/read aloud 12:10 – 12:50 Lunch 12:50 – 1: SSR 1:10 – 1: Spelling/Grammar/Cursive 1:40 – 2: Science/Social Studies 2:15 – 2: Pack up/clean up

6 Reading and Language Arts
Balanced literacy approach Intergrating vocabulary, comprehension strategies, story elements, phonics, sequencing, critical reading skills, fiction and non-ficition.
