Increase the level of health and wellness among Aboriginal Students. Increase the level of participation and knowledge of local culture Improve Aboriginal student/parent feeling of self worth and identity Improve the graduation/6 year completion rate of Aboriginal students First People’s Principles of Learning Learning ultimately supports the well-being of the self, the family, the community, the land and the ancestors Learning is holistic, reflexive, reflective, experiential and relational. Learning involves recognizing the consequences of one’s actions. Learning involves patience and time. Learning involves exploration of one’s identity.

Learning Increase the level of student and staff engagement Improve student performance in the areas identified as foundational skills Identify and address student learning needs effectively (RTI triangle on website) Organizational Excellence Community Well Being Partner with community / post-secondary to support trades and skill training Highlight successes Prioritize and allocate funding Improve communication Effectively implement technology Increase the level of health and wellness among Aboriginal students Improve the graduation / 6 year completion rate of Aboriginal students Increase the level of participation and knowledge of local culture Foster a Culture of Health, Safety and Wellness for All
