6. DO AND DON’TS DO: Ask pronouns Use a person’s preferred name
Ask what pronouns/name to use around others e.g. Parents
Treat them like you’d treat everyone else
Ask where they got their really awesome clothes from
DON’T:
Ask their birth name (they’ll tell you if they want to)
Ask what genitals they have
Ask what bathroom they use
