Chichu Art Museum The Chichu Art Museum is a monumental structure designed from basic geometric shapes, a trademark attribute of the Japanese architect Tadao Ando. The art museum is situated on the southern end of Naoshima island, off the western coast of Japan. The museum houses exhibits by Claude Monet, Light installations by James Turrel and a sculpture consisting of an entire room by Walter De Maria. The museum has been designed with the intent of creating features out of the natural light allowed into the building. The purpose of this part of assignment one is an introduction to the modeled building. The rendered images that follow show the model in its entirety. There are also interior renders of a few spaces showing the impact the natural light has on the spaces.
