Now in its 3rd year as a state-wide initiative for the Virginia DOE

The SparkTop.org website is a FREE online resource that any DOE can use
The Show Your Spark! School Assembly program is available to any DOE in week blocks

Pre-registration for every teacher and and student on the SparkTop.org site
2 SparkTop gifts for each child attending event
Keepsake leave behind for each school
Mix and match assemblies, teacher training and custom student programs for your needs

Mission: To assist children with special needs to develop and express a love of the arts and establish a SAFE online community where children can:
Learn new skills and talents
Get advice from experts and peers
Safely interact with other children
Develop an online showcase of students’ work to inspire others

The fundamental online infrastructure for such a program already exists:
The SparkTop.org web site already has over years of experience where children with special needs have safely found a place to get help, mentor their peers,
and most importantly, just have fun!

This would be a voluntary program that each state DOE could elect to participate in
The Special Olympics and the Very Special Arts programs would be invited to collaborate
Funding would be sought through both private and public sources
