S and N reacts with H2O, O2, CO2 and sunlight in the atmosphere to form sulfuric and nitric acids
Acid precipitation (rain/snow) with pH <5.6 (Babich and Davis, 1980)
Distilled water in equilibrium with carbon dioxide under laboratory conditions
The source can be man made or natural sources
