2 Design and Well-being “A sense of space and place is intimately bound up with the human experience of being and becoming.” –Tim Costello “I deeply believe that a beautiful décor can have a beneficial influence on our lives.” –Albert Hadly “What is design? It’s where you stand with a food in two worlds – the world of technology and the world of people and human purposes – and you try to bring the two together.” –Mitchell Kapor “Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak.” – Rachel Zoe “What you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today, when human contacts are so quick.
