The issue: Increasing globalisation, less clear jurisdictions of employment law, sustained attacks on trade union rights and organisation The consequences: Falling levels of unionization; contracting out of services; increasing worker redundancies; erosion of workers rights in many parts of the world; social dumping; lower wages and social protections, growing inequality and discrimination. At national level and in local workplaces, our members deal with these symptoms.

14 The issues are real but it’s only through action that change happens
The issues are real but it’s only through action that change happens. GFAs secure better working conditions for workers, union recognition without conflict which typifies many campaigns, and allows mutually productive industrial relations between signatory and union GFAs seek to support union activities by informing, connecting and solving.
