HSRW has developed one demonstrator:
Augmented Reality Memory Game
The concept is a combination of a traditional memory game with cards
and Augmented Reality features  Mixed Reality
Players flip cards with pictures of female scientists and pictures of their research field (example: Jane Goodall – chimpanzees) and have to pair the two corresponding cards.
Then the pupils scan a QR code on the cards and get additional information about this scientist and her research.

4. The Augmented Reality Memory Game has been implemented in a school at Goch near Kleve as a practical part of a bachelor thesis. 78 students of 9th grade took part.
The class was divided into two groups (39 each), one used the AR game, the other was exposed to normal teaching situation.
SMQ II questionnaire and a matching quiz have been used for pre-evaluation before the intervention and for post-evaluation after five days. Detailed results will be published soon in the bachelor thesis.

5. Ideas for New Demonstrators
Tectonic Parameter – A spoken-word journey through earth history Tectonic Parameter is a 1500 word poem (in English) that uses rhythm and rhyme to teach about events and processes in earth´s history. Each student is assigned a role and a set of lines of the playscript. The play is performed as a class. In a second step students are encouraged to write their own poems for the play. The poem has been performed already by a single person but not with students. We are looking for partners and schools to implement (good English speaking skills are needed).
