5. Besetting Sins (Heb. 12:1)
“…that which easily encircles or entangles, like a loose flowing robe…”
Sins which cling so close to us that cause us to stumble
Examples:
Sins indulged in before obeying the gospel-lying, gambling, cursing, cheating, etc.
Drawn to due to our temperament – pride, laziness, skepticism, stubbornness, etc…
