Motor Mount TOP 1. Cut out the Launch Rod Holes, marked ‘LR’ from the TOP and BOTTOM with a sharp craft knife (Exacto #11) 2. Cut out the TOP, spread glue in a thin layer on the area marked glue. Form the TOP into a shallow cone. 3. Cut out the BOTTOM. Make a crease in the BOTTOM using a ball point pen along the dashed line. 4. Carefully fold the edge of the BOTTOM up along the dashed line. 5. Form the BOTTOM into a cone shape with a raised lip and glue together using the glue tab. 6. Glue the BOTTOM to the TOP. Make sure the Launch Rod Holes line up and the BOTTOM is centered. 7. The arrow on the BOTTOM should line up with the seam on the TOP. 8. Cut out the MOTOR MOUNT and roll into a hollow cylinder around a A10-PT motor and glue it together. 9. Put glue on the forward end of the MOTOR MOUNT and slide it into the BOTTOM and up to the TOP 10. Put a fillet of glue around the joint between the BOTTOM and MOTOR MOUNT. Launch Preparation: Friction fit the motor into place. Use only Estes A10-PT motors. 1. To making folding easier, crease all the dashed lines with a ball point pin and a straight edge. 2. Cut out the Motor Mount on the solid lines, fold all of the dashed lines 3. Fold and glue Tab 1A to Tab 1B with the printed sides together. 4. Fold Tabs 1A&B over to 1C and glue. 5 Repeat steps 3 & 4 for Tab 2 through 5. 6. Form the Motor Mount into a 5 sided, hollow tube and glue together using Tab 6. 7, Cut out the main body of the Cinco on the solid lines, fold on the dashed lines. Form the Top into a five sided “cone” and glue. 8. Form the Bottom into a five sided “cone” with the edges folded up and glue. 9. Spread glue on the tab between the Top and the Bottom and press it flat. 10. Spread glue on the 4 remaining tabs of the Bottom and press them against the the Top. 11. Slide the Motor Mount up through the Bottom and continue until it reaches the Top and just a little (1/32") above it. 12. Put a fillet of glue around the Motor Mount where it joins the Top and Bottom. To make folding easier, crease all the dashed lines with a ballpoint pen and a straight edge Cut out the holes for the launch rod and motor mount with a sharp craft knife. Cut out the Motor Mount, cut only on the solid lines and fold on the dashed lines. Form the Motor Mount into a 3 sided tube and glue together. Cut out the main body of the Qubit and fold on the dashed lines. Form the 3 squares into a corner and glue using the tab. Fold the triangles toward the printed side. Spread glue evenly over the back (non-printed side) of the three triangular tabs on the part mark “Qubit”. Fold the part marked “Qubit” under and match up the triangular tabs with the pointed ends of the squares. Put glue at the top end of the MOTOR MOUNT. Slide the glued end of the MOTOR MOUNT into the hole below the word “Qubit” until it makes contact with the inside of the cube. Put a fillet of glue around the joint between the MOTOR MOUNT and the part marked “Qubit” To fly, slide a motor into the MOTOR MOUNT. Use Estes A10-PT motors only. Cut only on the solid lines with a good pair of scissors. Cut out the Launch Rod hole marked “LR” in the TOP with a sharp craft knife. Fold on the dashed lines away from the printed side. Spread white glue evenly over the Glue Tab and attach it to the underside of the TOP to form a closed corner. Cut out the BOTTOM. Fold on the dashed lines toward the printed side.
