ICZMP (Livelihoods Component) – Overview
MOU signed between WBSRLM and SPMU on 30th January, 2015 Implementation process started during July/August after several round of discussions for clarity and smooth transition. Annual Action Plan for submitted on 3rd September 2015. Several capacity building activities undertaken including training of Community Service Providers, training on CIF Management & Book- Keeping, Sangha/Cluster Management, MIP preparation, exposure visits to learning sites etc. Annual Action Plan for submitted and approved for Rs crores

Salient Features of Annual Action Plan 2016-17:
, SPMU to continue to fund and monitor 128 Entry Point Activities (EPAs) and fund already given on Income Generating Activities (i.e. 6 contracts). WBSRLM supports the formation of SHGs with members from poor households and disburses revolving fund to them. WBSRLM releases Community Investment Fund to Sanghas for on-lending to SHG members based on Micro Investment Plan prepared by SHGs who will take up livelihood activities. Community Investment Fund and Revolving Fund disbursal norms under ICZMP follow existing WBSRLM guidelines applicable across the state. Execution of activities through community institutions after appropriate and adequate capacity building. No livelihood activities which are detrimental to the environmental will be undertaken/ supported. CIF will be utilised for productive purposes Financial transactions between Sangha and SHGs on account of CIF will only be done through Bank / Cheque Purchase Committee of 3 members for purchases of more than Rs At least 3 quotations will be required.
