Route Map The map lays out the route the bus takes and shows the major locations accessed by using the route.

The TimeTable The timetable gives the times the bus will be at major destinations called time points.

Bus stops Bus stops may be located every few blocks.
-Wait at marked stops. -Be at the bus stop five minutes before it arrives -Some bus systems use a “flag down” system, where there are no bus stop signs. Riders can wave the bus down anywhere along its route that it is safe to board.

The TimeTable Check what days of the week the timetable lists.
This timetable is for Saturday.

Time Points: Indicated by a number along the bus route map, matches time points printed on the timetable. Bus stops To find out the time to be at the bus stop Look for the time point before the stop you plan to use. Read this schedule down to the nearest time you want to leave.

The TimeTable To find the time you will arrive at your destination read this schedule from right to left.
