Bertha Maria Cresencia Christine Felipe Struhala
My students call me: Mrs. Struhala
(much shorter! And better than
“Miss” or “Missy”)
This will be my thirteenth year teaching at the Dr. Richardson School.
I was born in Havana, Cuba.
I came to the U. S. when I was 8 years old and started 3rd grade.
I live in Carteret.

3. My Family
I have one daughter and son-in-law ~ Samantha Rose Struhala (you will hear a lot about her this year!) ~ She is also a teacher and Tommy is her husband.
I have a partner named Garry.
My parents’ names are Bertha & Juan Felipe.
I am an only child.
I have 2 nieces (Jennifer, Gabriela), 3 nephews (Ron, Matt, Alex) and 1 great nephew (Ron III)

4. My Pets I own 1 cat: “Princess Leia” (girl) ~ she is 11 years old
I also own 1 dog: his name is “Prince” and he is 7 years old.
I love all animals, however,
absolutely NO RODENTS or REPTILES!
