3. Close read – writing portion
For this close read you will be required to write a summary and a reflection on the Article.
You need to write 3 paragraphs summarizing the Article you have read, “Mexican Clothing.” What were the major points of the article? Which clothing did you find the most interesting? Would you wear any of the clothing?
You will also need to write a 2 paragraph reflection. Your prompt is as follows: The author of the article, “Mexican Clothing”, writes about how ancient Mexican clothing is still incorporated today in their wardrobe. Do you think it would be cool if we wore clothing that was worn by our founding fathers in the 1770s? If so, what aspects would you want to have us wear now? If not, why not?
REMINDER, a paragraph is 5-7 sentences.
