SREB’s Partnership with HCS Will Advance Career Readiness
Purpose: Re-design and integrate English, math, science, and social studies courses to the broad career cluster areas. Develop rigorous Advanced Manufacturing and Health Science curriculum.

HCS’s Multi-Year Partnership will Serve as a Model District Opportunity The outcomes of this multi-year partnership include: Connect students to career and educational goals Prepare teachers to use college and career readiness tools and strategies in literacy and math Prepare school leaders to become instructional leaders who can lead innovative teams Assist high schools to organize around broad career pathways/career-themed academies with both an academic and career focus Assist middle grades to develop a career exploration and STEM focus and accelerate grade level curriculum
