E .Coli is a bacteria that can be found in humans and animals. Sometimes it can cause food poisoning. It is commonly found in elderly people and kids. But sometimes E Coli can be harmless. In 1885, a bacteriologist named Theodor Escherich found out that E Coli was responsible for infant diarrhea. It can be caused by contaminated food, water, etc.

Then they got sick with E Coli. Then more people got sick from eating the food. So, if they were in contact with animals or ate the food, there is a big chance of getting E .Coli.

We used the CDRs, newspapers, maps, and memos to find this information. We researched to find the most logical answers. The CDRs helped us find things done at the fair that were common between multiple people. The newspapers helped us find out ways that could have been possible causes and kept us caught up with the latest news on the Barrow County outbreak. The memos helped us by keeping us updated with who was at the hospital and who died. The CDRs helped us see who got sick and how they got sick. For the people who didn’t get sick, we saw what they did to stay healthy.
