5. Class guidelines
1. BE RESPONSIBLE: Have all materials ready, including homework, before the tardy bell.
2. BE ON TIME, ON TASK: Be in seat and begin working when bell rings. Complete work in a timely fashion and avoid unnecessary talking.
3. ALWAYS FOLLOW DIRECTIONS: Raise your hand and wait to be called on before speaking or moving out of your seat.
4. RESPECT: Be respectful of everyone; keep hands, feet, objects and inappropriate comments to yourself. Be in assigned seat with supplies when bell rings

15. Turning in papers
Pass your papers to the right and continue passing all papers to the right
Then I will come around and collect all papers

16. Classroom discussions
Please participate
Make all questions and comments relevant to the current discussion
If your question is off topic , write it down and ask the question later

17. Bathroom breaks
Raise your hand and wait for me to acknowledge you

18. Moving around the room
You must ask for permission
Do not ask during class discussion unless it is an emergency

19. Class dismissal
The teacher dismisses you, not the bell
Do not start packing up prior to the bell
Wait until the teacher dismisses you with “Have a nice day!”
