Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family
Dear St. Anthony’s Parishioner I wish you the warmth of Christmas that brings peace to your home. May you find happiness, love and friendship right beside you and wherever you may go.. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family Christmas is an opportunity to thank so many Parishioners who give generously of their time, talents and treasure in making this Parish such an energetic, faith-filled community that it is at present. It is calculated that over 140 parishioners take an active part in some form of ministry, organization or parish activity. This is what makes our parish vibrant. The work of, Secretary, Knights of Columbus, CWL, Youth Ministry, Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, Ushers & Greeters, Prep – Coordinators, Counters, Alter Servers, Sacristan, Maintainers and Music Ministry in the Parish deserves special mention, particularly at this time of year. A Special thanks to Lynda & Dan McIntyre. Traditionally, we see Christmas as a time of peace and joy, a time to celebrate with family, with friends and loved ones. I do hope that your Christmas will have something of that peace, joy and celebration. Such joyful celebrations may not be possible for some of you, because you may have lost a loved one since last Christmas, or you may be overburdened by family problems or for many other reasons. If you are such a parishioner, I want to assure you that, as a parish community, we do care and offer you our support. I wish to take this opportunity to thank you for your generous support over the past year. A little smile, A word of cheer, A bit of love from someone near, A little gift from one held dear, Best wishes for the coming year, These make a Merry Christmas! Happy Christmas and Happy New year 2017 Fr. Steny Mascarenhas OCD
