The Christmas Eve, Christmas tree, which hang baubles, lights, glowing strings, gingerbread and candy.

On Christmas Eve supper prepare 12 dishes
On Christmas Eve supper prepare 12 dishes. The most popular dishes include: cabbage with beans and mushrooms, carp, borscht with dumplings and dried fruit compote.

The important thing of the day is to put hay under the tablecloth as well as leaving a plate for the weary wanderer who may knock on the door.

When the first star appears in the whole family gathers around the table. One person reads aloud the Gospel of the birth of Jesus.

After reading all share the gospel of the blessed wafer and made a wish many graces from the baby Jesus.

We all sit at the table and are trying each dish, because it foretells happiness in the coming year.

When the family gathered on Christmas Eve singing carols.

Another important point of the evening is the opening of gifts lying under the Christmas tree.

At midnight, everyone goes to church at midnight mass.

In the first and second day family and friends gather at the table also. The time we spend on food prepared dishes, talking and singing Christmas carols.
