Grew up in Pukerua Bay and attended Kapiti College
Interested in film from a young age and started making his own after the family was gifted a Super 8 cine- camera by family friends
Loved J.R.R Tolken's books and King Kong was his favourite film

Learned through trial and error
Wanted to make films after seeing King Kong
Started as a child using the family camera to make short films with films
