14 GUIDO DANIELE Guido Daniele was born in Soverato (CZ - Italy) in 1950 and now lives and works in Milan. From 1964 to 1968 he attended Brera artistic High School. He graduated from Brera School of Arts (major in sculpturing) in He lived in India since 1972 to 1974 where he attended the Tankas school in Dharamsala. In 1990 he added a new artistic experience to his previous ones: using the body painting technique he creates and paints models bodies for different situations such as advertising pictures and commercials, fashion events and exhibitions. Its search started in 2000 about "Handimals" maked with the method of body painting on hands has a great international interest.

27 St. Louis Zoo Art Contest CELTIC ANIMAL DESIGN PROJECT
Theme: Students should research and create artwork that depicts an animal, amphibian, reptile, fish, insect, etc. in their natural habitat and how they protect themselves. Specifications: Size: 12” X 18” The artwork is restricted to this exact size for display purposes – no exceptions. You may mount the artwork – if so, please use very lightweight poster board or paper and allow no more than one inch (1”) borders – or less – not to exceed the 12” X 18” size limit. Two-dimensional artwork is the accepted norm, however, you may submit three-dimensional artwork, but the design may be raised only up to 1 ½ inches from the flat surface of the 12” X 18” artwork. First place is $ cash prize. DIRECTIONS: 1. Listen and participate as Mr. B describes the project and reads the requirements.= 50 pts. 2. Choose between the two options given you: 1) Palm Print and the use of scratch art to draw your animal or 2) drawing your hand and then drawing the animal so that both hand and animal become one. = 50 pts. 3. Your final drawing must have: = 200 pts. a. A clearly drawn animal that fits into the given space (the palm of the hand or the shape of the hand). b. Option 1 must use scratch art to make the animal look link the palm of the hand or in Option 2, the drawn animal must be painted or use pastel to draw the animal in the shape of the chosen hand position. 4. Color your design carefully and make sure that great care is taken to erase pencil marks. = 200 pts. 5. Project was completed on time. = 20 pts. TOTAL POINTS: 520
