A100 example
To change the SN of a unit please install the ServiceROM to the unit.
In this case we use the ServiceROM for A100 located in:
/ICONIA TAB (A100)/OS Images/Service_ROM

3. SN update

Please navigate to the Applications Tab and start the application “Code SN update”. (might be named slightly different in ServiceROM for other units).

You´ll see information for current SN information.
To change please click on “Update Code SN” and enter the correct value.

Please enter the correct value and click the “do update” button.
Afterwards you´ll get a success information.

6. SN update

You MUST install latest OS to the unit after using Diagnostics/SN change.
You MUST perform “Factory data reset” to make sure the “ACTP.apk”
and customer data will be deleted.
Do not forget the Micro SD card in the unit.
DO NOT disclose the test tool OS to the customer.
